My name is Anna and I am 28 years old. I have had many different illnesses in my life. When I was a child, I had chickenpox. As an adult, I have had a cold several times this year — it has been a difficult winter! I have also had a bad cough recently, and I have been to the doctor twice this month. Fortunately, I have never had a very serious illness. I have never broken a bone, and I have never had an operation. I have never had a fever higher than 39 degrees. My doctor has always said that I am quite healthy overall. This year, I have started exercising every day, and I have not had flu at all.
Hello! I’m Mark and I love travelling. I have been to many countries in Europe. I have visited France, Italy, Spain and Poland. I have never been to Asia, but it is my dream. I have seen the Eiffel Tower in Paris and I have eaten amazing pasta in Rome. This year, I have already travelled to three countries! I have never ridden an elephant, but I have ridden a camel in Egypt. My favourite trip has been to Iceland, where I have seen the Northern Lights. I have not yet visited the Pyramids in Egypt, but I have booked a trip for next month.
My name is Sofia and I have studied English for five years. I have never studied any other language, but this year I have started learning Spanish too! It has been difficult but exciting. I have already learnt 200 Spanish words and I have watched three Spanish films with subtitles. I have spoken to a native Spanish speaker once — it was scary but wonderful! I have never lived in an English-speaking country, but I have visited England twice. Both times, I have spoken English with local people, and they have understood me perfectly. I have passed three English exams so far. I have not yet taken the IELTS exam, but I have registered for it next spring.
