Czasu Present Continuous używamy do mówienia o czynnościach, które dzieją się w tej chwili (teraz, w tej chwili).
- Budowa: am / is / are + czasownik + -ing
- I → am waiting (I’m waiting)
- He / She / It → is waiting (He’s waiting)
- You / We / They → are waiting (They’re waiting)
- ⚠️ Często używamy skrótów: I’m, she’s, they’re

We use the present continuous to talk about actions happening at the moment of speaking.
I am sitting in my car. She’s watching television.

✏️ Spelling Rules — Zasady pisowni -ing
1. Most verbs → add -ing
wait → waiting read → reading
2. Verb ends in -e → drop e, add -ing
make → making decide → deciding write → writing
3. One vowel + one consonant → double consonant
sit → sitting swim → swimming cut → cutting
4. Verb ends in -ie → change ie to y
lie → lying tie → tying die → dying
5. Vowel + y → add -ing
stay → staying play → playing say → saying
